Free Bicycle Tour Skopje

Skopje is best felt on a bicycle. 
 
The Skopje Free Bicycle Tour gives the opportunity to discover Skopje both like a local and like a tourist. We take you on a trip to the main city attractions, iconic buildings, we show you the places where locals spend their time, and we get to have a drink or bite, in the style like a person from Skopje.
 
We start from the City Square and from there, following bicycle paths and bicycle lanes we visit a number of iconic places and hidden gems not listed on the itinerary. We move mainly through the central area of the city and end the tour at the same point we started.
 
Included spots:
The itinerary will be decided by the guide before the tour starts, according to the participants’ skills and fitness level, and taking into consideration the weather forecast.

Things to note: 
Please reserve your spot at least one day in advance.
This tour does not include a bicycle, you need to bring your own or rent one. Scooters are welcome, though not the best option.
Helmets are obligatory by law, but there are no fines if you do not wear one.
Our tours are not challenging, they are suitable for everyone, no matter their fitness level. The pace is always slow and we stop regularly during the tour. It’s important that you know how to ride a bicycle and that you are in good health. 

Likewise, it disclaims any responsibility, both to the company and to the guide, derived from the misuse or negligent practice of the bicycle during the bike tour to be carried out.
In any case, the participant is responsible for having accident insurance if necessary.
The renting party does hereby agree to take full responsibility in case of any damage to any person, the bike or to loss of the bike during the tour.

Bicycle rental:

By joining our free bike tour of Skopje you can choose to use our oldtimer bicycles or to rent a bike.

If you choose to use our restored old-timers, single speed, city bicycles of the brand Rog - Ljubljana to pair with this tour. Know that these bicycles mark the past of Skopje as the most loved and best bicycles that were available in the common Yugoslavian period.  Available in size M and size L. The rental price of these bicycles is 5 Eur. And you can keep the bicycles till the end of the day, after the tour, at no extra cost.

You can also rent a bicycle from our bike rental partner - bicycle.mk, that offer Premium mountain bicycles Specialized Pitch Expert with front shocks, 3x9 Deore gears that will provide a comfortable ride for the tour. Available in sizes from XS to XL. The special price of 15€ is valid for the duration of the tour. You can rent these bicycles for the whole day (24h) for a price of 26 Eur.

You will pay for the bike rental immediately before the tour.
